📘 Digital media and soft skills training for teachers
📘 Digital training for library animators, leisure centres, community centers….
📘 Creation and facilitation of educational workshops for students
📘 Organization of digital workshops for school groups and discovery classes (from primary to secondary school)
📘 Facilitation of events and training sessions for the general public (Techcamp, workshops during school holidays)
The Coding and Bricks’ Creative LAB is located on the Tourism and Innovation Campus in Le TOUQUET.
Since 2018, Coding & Bricks has been a partner of the Innovation and Strategies in Education department of the Hauts de France region on the matter of Shared Innovation Spaces (EIP) in high schools. We therefore offer training sessions for teaching teams so that all teachers know how to use the material financed by the region at their disposal, but also to instill soft skills in teaching teams.
Coding & Bricks welcomes, in its space dedicated to creativity, technology and educational innovation, students from the Tourism & Innovation Campus and facilitates Design Thinking workshops on innovative projects integrating robotics, the Internet Of Things, designing and 3D printing.
Coding & Bricks also uses the LEGO® SERIOUSPLAY® methodology and Design Thinking to facilitate teamwork with collaborative, disruptive and creative methods! Thanks to these agile software development methods , we support students and teaching teams on projects conducted with the private partners of the Campus.
Our objective is to help students learn more instinctively, conveniently and collaboratively around projects. This approach, based on experimentation, helps them develop the skills needed in the 21st century.
It consists of deploying a network of Shared Innovation Spaces in high schools of the region. These are generally structured around two spaces:
Major topics such as entrepreneurship, economic intelligence, soft skills development, the search of information on the Internet, protection of industrial and intellectual property, the filing of patents are provided in these spaces of high-added-value that are conducive to collective and individual reflection as well as professional and personal development.
A first: some establishments have seen their Shared Innovation Spaces be equipped with a 3D concrete printer which places the Hauts-de-France region as a pioneer region in training regarding this technology especially since this equipment was designed and manufactured in the region.
Other Shared Innovation Spaces are equipped with 3D printers, scanners, drones, holographic projectors, touch tables with mind map software, virtual reality hardware, robotic hardware and programmable devices. The latter makes it possible to build, program and communicate with environmental sensors.
Eventually, the Region will have access to a real network of mini-technology platforms.
Every year, Coding & Bricks offers training sessions (over a few days) and learning workshops for children during school holidays. Thanks to our lively and non-academic pedagogical approach, children learn S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathemathics) while having fun! Participatory and interactive, the workshops encourage them to express themselves orally, whatever their level, in a friendly atmosphere and in small groups. Our animators are experienced and trained in our pedagogy.
These workshops most often focus on computer programming, robotics and 3D printing.
The alliance between our experience in terms of pedagogy, particularly learnt in Denmark at LEGO® Education, agile software development (Design Thinking, Lego® Seriousplay..) and our robotics, IOT and 3D devices allows the creation of innovative projects but also leads towards more creativity, more collective intelligence and a better understanding of digital developments in tourism.
Since the inauguration of the Tourism & Innovation Campus and the Coding & Bricks Lab in 2017, more than 500 students have already participated in our workshops.
